First Day- January 19th, 2018 (previously worked with Marketing Plus as a freelancer/vendor)

Any New Year’s resolutions for 2018?
I’m trying to be better about spending locally and keeping aware of the silver lining in hard situations. Also trying to kick a hard core addiction to cheese.

Have you learned anything new since starting at Marketing Plus?
I learned you can use an incognito window in Chrome to be logged into multiple Dropbox accounts at once. Seems obvious in hindsight. Thanks, Lauren and Johnna!

What’s something new you’re dying to try or buy?
I hear there is a restaurant in the OC that makes chiliquile burritos. Get. In. My. Mouth.

What’s a new piece of art or pop culture that you love?
Hamilton is my everything; I follow the actors on Instagram and pretend we’re all best friends. I also recently saw Call Me By Your Name and I really appreciated its subtext about the temporary nature of love and life itself, and why that isn’t any reason to not love and live with your whole heart anyway. Good stuff. I went home and cried for a few hundred hours afterward.

Are you an old soul or a new soul?
I’m totally an old soul, with the overactive imagination of a five-year-old.

Any new restaurants or businesses in town you recommend to our readers?
Pita Kabob downtown; La Arepa, Ampersand and Hi-Top Coffee in the Tower District; and The Annex Kitchen off Shaw
