Moving On Up

Much like George and Louise “Weezy” Jefferson, we’re movin’ on up to the east side. Well, ok, the east side of the main drag our old office was on. But it’s an exciting change for us, giving us a lot of elbow room to dream, create, brainstorm, and work without (literally, once) tripping over each other. (And yes, the tripping was by me, the least coordinated person on this planet. It’s been documented to the point of referring to the “Scott factor.”) But enough about that.

Is the new space as cool as George and Louise’s apartment?

Let me tell you about the new digs. No, it’s not a deluxe apartment in the sky with an aloof British neighbor or a doorman who shakes you down for cash. It’s not in the sky at all.

The new office is 2,200 square feet (a 1,000 square foot upgrade for us) that allows us to have our in-house creative suite, a larger conference room for all of the conferring we do, a dedicated “break area” (where all of the really good ideas originate,) and plenty of leg room for our staff to better serve our clients.

With our signature “Team Orange” highlights, the sun pouring in through all of the windows, and our Hall of Fame examples of design work, there is a creative vibe running through the walls. We all feel it; we can’t out our fingers on it, but there’s something just right about the new space.

(The orange is Pantone 1505 if you’re wondering, or want to buy us an accessory as an office-warming gift.)

And it gets even better.

In addition to the new office, we have an attached 800 square foot finished warehouse that has been officially titled (like with paperwork and everything) The Art Box. Yes, it’s a box. And it’s going to be full of art.

Think of it as a 3-D, climate controlled blank canvas that can be rented for pretty much anything. Photo shoots, art showings, live performances, a recording venue, the sky’s the limit. Raul Lara, our multi-talented graphic designer got immediately working on the logo:

 Pretty snazzy, eh?

And it gets even better-er.

The Art Box has a stove, refrigerator, and all of the food serving props you could ever imagine if food photography is your thing.

If live performance is what you’re looking to do, an attached green room and restroom are available. We’ve got padded, folding chairs. We have a space for a control booth so no one has to see your stage manager or crew.

Here’s the true beauty of a blank 3-D canvas. It can be a fancy Manhattan-style office:

Or it can be the setting of a fancy Manhattan-style office:

It’s blank. It’s 3-D. And it’s ready for you.

So this concludes the tour of the new office here at Marketing Plus and The Art Box.

But, wait! Something’s missing.

You are correct, you are missing. You’re not here, I just checked. We’d love for you to stop by the new digs and see for yourself. You don’t even need to call first, we’re here Monday through Friday from 8:30-5:00, the new address is 499 W. Bedford, Suite #101, Fresno, 93711. We are right on the SE corner of Bedford and Alluvial.

If you need a landmark, we’re just north of the Meat Market. (They have fresh tri-tip. To go. We love tri-tip.)

We really do hope to see you soon!

Scott, and the whole team at Marketing Plus.
